Iris

Iris flowers are highly ornamental. There are about 300 varieties worldwide, while there are more than 60 types in my country. Iris can be divided into two categories according to the different underground stems:

Root category of iris

When the underground part of the iris is root, or the rhizome -shaped, this is the root of the root. The root -rooted iris is a perennial plant. Its leaves are sword -shaped, and the stems of the flower are upright. The most common is German iris and yellow iris. The flower of German iris is blue, white, purple, etc., colorful. And yellow iris is yellow.

There is also one of the root -type iris that the above -the -ground will keep it green when most varieties withered in winter, so it is called evergreen iris.

Roots of iris

When you see the underground part of the iris are the spherical stem shape, this is the root of the ball root. Ball root iris preferences warm, so it can promote cultivation under the greenhouse. It includes Dutch iris, yellow Danda iris, and mesh iris. Its color is blue, purple, white, etc.

Ball root iris breeds through the ball, a kind of planting after planting for one year, and a new ball, the eldest ball, through breeding, will bloom.
