Yellow-flowered Phaius orchids are best identified from the whole plant, including their leaves, pseudobulbs and flower spikes. Keep the nursery label and compare a flowering specimen with a reliable botanical description.
1. Leaves
The leaves of the yellow flower crane are 4-6, and they grow very closely. They are born in the upper part of the fake bulb, and generally have yellow plaques.Its shape is oblong or ellipse lanceolate, and the length is longer than 25cm.Its apex is a gradual or sharp -tip, with hairlessness on both sides of the leaves.
Two, flowers
The flowers of the yellow flower crane are yellow, and the petals are long and round -shaped, which is very similar to the length of the sepals. The apex is relatively blunt and hairless.Generally, it will be opened between April and October. The pollen is ovate, with a length of about 2mm.
