The difference between Bandan orchid and Chiyolan

Different from the variety of Bandai and Chiyolan

Bandonglan is the general name of the genus Plants of Bandai. There are roughly 60 to 80 species in this plant, with a wide range of distribution. They are distributed in China, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Hawaii, and New Guinea, Australia and other places. Chiyo orchids were caused by maclata and Bandanchi.

Different morphological characteristics

Bandonglan is a typical epidnette orchid; its calyx is developed, and the two sides of the side are larger. It is the most conspicuous part of the whole flower, but the petals of Bandailan are smaller and the lips are smaller. Some of them are reversed, and some are round and flat; the flowering period of Bandonglan is very long, and a flower can even open for several weeks in a row.

Chiyo orchid’s plants are relatively short and are only half of the size of Bandong orchids; Chiyoko orchids are colorful, and the whole year has a variety of flowers, but most of them are concentrated in spring or summer and autumn. Very rich and diverse.
