Names such as jade tree and swallow palm may overlap in everyday use. Compare botanical labels before treating two common names as proof of different plants.
What is the swallow?
Swallow, commonly known as glass, for evergreen small shrub.Swallow palm strains are 1-3 meters high, branches and leaves have thick, four-season green, multi-branch.The leaves are elliptical, 3-5 cm long and 2.5-3 cm wide.The swallow palm tree is tall and delicate, the stem is green, the top of the white flowers, very clear and elegant.Family potted plants have dwarf, not long to a very tall swallow.Only when the sun is very strong, the edge of the blade will appear red.
Yushu is
Yushu is a plucked fungus bracket.Plant is 1-3 meters high.Stem dry meat, thick, peel with gray, shallow, branched, small branches, brown green, color depth.Leaf meat, ovoid, 4 cm long, 3 cm wide, leaves ash green, and red drafting.Flowers in the late Summer early summer, cylindrical flow 2 cm, white or light pink.
The difference between swallows and jade trees
The edge of Yushu's leaves is red side, and the swallows do not have this red side.
The swallows palm's leaves are relatively large, and the leaves of the jade tree are smaller.
The stem of the swallows is soft, and the jade stalk is hard.
